“Beginning, Beginning Again, And Again” is for new as well as experienced writers wanting to write family history and memoir. How to get started, find ideas and information, and use forms to put it all together are some of the topics to be discussed.

Jim Johnson has published eleven books of poetry, including Finns In Minnesota Midwinter (North Star Press), Dovetailed Corners (Holy Cow! Press), The Coop Label (Dovetailed Corners Press), Wolves (New Rivers Press), The First Day Of Spring In Northern Minnesota (Red Dragonfly Press), which feature Finnish-American topics. One Morning In June: Selected Poems (RDP, 2020)expresses the concern for plants and animals. He has taught writing: Minnesota Poets-in-the-Schools, Duluth public schools, College of St. Scholastica. Twice honored as Duluth (Minnesota) Poet Laureate.
