Shawn Huff and Ervin Latimer Jr. are both sons of Black American basketball players who came to Finland to play ball. They met and married Finnish women; their sons have grown up in Finland. For their fathers, basketball has been a way out of poverty but racism they experienced in the USA followed them to Finland. Their young awakened political thoughts continued. Each of their sons has, in his own way, translated these thoughts into action in the fields of sports, culture and politics. The film follows their life as Finnish citizens born and raised as multicultural persons in Finland.
