Proceeding by bus from the DECC along the Lake Superior shoreline, the group will have morning coffee at the one-room Larsmont Schoolhouse, built by Finland Swedes. The next stop, at the Gooseberry Falls State Park Visitor Center (designed by David Salmela), will be followed with a lunch offered by members of the Finland Heritage Site. The tour continues as far as Grand Marais, including a visit to the new Sisu + Löyly Sauna, before returning to Duluth.
